Billed as the 'Untold Story of the Witches of Oz', this animated slice of theatre exposes audiences to a different take on the evil lurking in the 1939 Judy Garland-starring smash film. Rather than demonising Oz' most malevolent resident, the musical depicts her as a misjudged soul as it explores her relationship with Glinda, later known as the 'Good Witch'. Set in a decidedly different era, audiences get to know the ghoul during her formative years as she explores romance, youthful friendships - certainly long before munchkins had pegged her a diabolical adversary.
