State Champs Biography - A Life Of The Finer Things

Made up of lead vocalist Derek DiScanio, Tyler Szalkowski, Ryan Scott Graham, Evan Ambrosio and Tony Diaz, this band of brothers formed in 2010, becoming friends through countless hours spent playing together. As a new band, you couldn't really ask more from their debut album - The Finer Things, released in 2013 hit number two on the Billboard Heatseekers charts in the U.S., and soon started to make an impression in the UK too. Immediately after the release of their debut, they were thrown into a whirlwind of interviews, album promotion and touring. Their first LP was The Acoustic Things, released in 2014 and featuring a capella versions of songs taken from their debut album. Third album Around the World and Back was released in 2015, and demonstrated considerable growth. Featuring the band's signature melodic hooks and fan favourite 'Secrets', it received critical acclaim, helping the LP peak in the top 30 of the U.S. Billboard 200.
