Born in North London to a Thai mother and Irish father, Sinead Harnett studied acting at University Arts College Bournemouth before switching her focus to music. After answering a call for vocalists on Twitter, Harnett was selected by grime maestro Wiley to appear on his 2011 single, "Walk Away." Harnett subsequently guested on tracks by deep house duo Disclosure, Canadian DJ Ryan Hemsworth and British producer Kidnap Kid. She also proved her talents as a songwriter by contributing to "Home," the Mercury Prize-nominated UK chart-topping debut album from drum 'n' bass outfit Rudimental. Harnett began to make waves as a solo artist with debut single, "Got Me," before releasing her first EP, "Now," in 2014. Boasting collaborations with acclaimed producers Kaytranada, Snakehips and GRADES, a self-titled follow-up arrived in 2016, while mixtape "Chapter One" dropped a year later.
