Rival Sons Biography - Smooth Sounds, Sharp Look

Formed in 2008 with a little help from MySpace, the group released their debut album Before the Fire digitallythe following year. The following 12 months saw the group continue to spread their name by supporting acts including AC/DC and Alice Cooper. They soon attracted the attention of iconic British metal label Earache Records and released their debut major album Pressure & Time in 2009. Reportedly written and produced within just 20 days, the album saw the group achieve international popularity, finding themselves placed on festival tours for Sonisphere and T in the Park, in addition to entering the Top 20 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. 2012 sealed their success with the release of Head Down, which entered top 40 albums charts across Europe and the UK.

Famed for their impressive live sets, these soulful classic rockers look as good as they sound - with bassist Robin Everhart frequently donning his infamous flatcap and shades whilst confidence-oozing frontman Jay Buchanan owns the stage.
