Having worked with the likes of Lana Del Rey and Lady Gaga, Fureder has established himself as a true innovator, and his latest record The Demon Diaries saw the DJ achieve his first number one hit in the Austrian charts. Parov Stelar Biography - World Renowned Producer Releases 13th Studio Album

Born in Linz, Austria, Marcus Fureder started working as a DJ in the mid '90s before beginning to produce and publish in the early '00s. His first EPs like Shadow Kingdom and Lo Tech Trash were released under alias Plasma, before he founded record label Etage Noir Recordings in 2003. Changing his pseudonym to its current moniker, the release of Kiss Kiss and Rough Cuts saw a breakthrough into the international dance music scene after being picked up by influential radio stations. 2007 album Shine debuted the electro swing sound that secured Fureder the spotlight as one of the most promising producers on the map, and his encyclopaedia-like knowledge of musical history has enabled him to take elements from hugely varied genres, combining them for a new generation.

Fureder's performances with a live swing band drew in the crowds, prompting bookings for festivals such as Glastonbury, Solidays and Rock Werchter, boosting demand for his own tour dates. After the release of records That Swing - Best Of and That Paris Swing Box, fans started flocking in huge numbers to hear the songs come to life in a live setting. His first notable chart success came in 2012 with the release of The Princess, which achieved a number four spot in the Austrian charts and secured victory at the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards in the Best Electronic Act category. He would go on to win a further five of the awards, including one for Best Live Act and another for Best Album. After dropping track 'Booty Swing', sampling Lil Hardin Armstrong's 1938 song 'Oriental Swing', Fureder found success in the US electronic charts too, which massively boosted his international profile. Having released his 13th official album The Demon Diaries he will be bringing his exciting show to the UK in March, for a one-off performance at Alexandra Palace in London.
