Michelle was born in 1972 in Villingen-Schwenningen. Since her debut in 1992, she has won a number of different awards, including two Amadeus Austria awards, two Goldene Stimmgabeln awards and two Echo awards. She also represented Germany in the Eurovision back in 2001. She finished in 8th place with her song Wer Liebe lebt, which translates to To Live for Love.

Over the years, she has released a number of different studio albums. Her first album was released in 1993. Since then, she has released the likes of Goodbye, Rouge and Leben!, which reached number three in the German charts. Her 2018, called Tabu, hit stores in 2018 and reached number four in the charts. She also brought out an ‘Ultimate Best Of’ album in 2014, whereby she delighted fans with seven new tracks! And the best news is that there are almost certainly going to be plenty more albums to come.
