Matchroom Boxing's biggest star Anthony Joshua takes on Carlos Takam in Cardiff

Paul Butler, who has signed a promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing, is first up on 30 September when he faces bitter rival Stuart Hall in a world title eliminator at Liverpool's Echo Arena. Butler took the IBF bantamweight crown from Hall in May 2014, so the Darlington man will be relishing the chance of revenge. The winner will be next in line to challenge for the WBA world title, currently held by Jamie McDonnell.

Anthony Crolla and Ricky Burns will put their careers on the line when they meet in a high-stakes British lightweight battle on 7 October. The former world champions are hoping to secure another shot at a major title fight, and with the loser facing almost certain retirement – the stakes could not be higher. 

Ryan Burnett meanwhile aims to continue his remarkable rise when he fights Zhanat Zhakiyanov on 21 October in a world bantamweight title unification clash in Belfast.
