Summertime brings music to the botanical beauty of Kew Gardens in a series of outdoor picnic concerts. In 2018, the concert series celebrates its 36th year with a line-up including Steps, Boyzone, The Human League, Gipsy Kings and Jools Holland.

The world's largest collection of living plants frames the idyllic gig setting, and for six nights in July an entertainment spectacle takes over the space; with music lovers flocking from all over the country to catch their favourite stars live on stage.

Kew the Music: great music in great surroundings

Glasshouses, flowers and water features provide the backdrop for this unique music festival, set within the stunning grounds of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. The sound of live music will fill the grounds from 10-15 July when some of the biggest stars in entertainment take to the stage throughout the week and weekend. Now in its 36th year, the star packed bill is better than ever, kicking off with the celebrated return of 90s superstars Steps as they continue their triumphant reunion with performances from their new album Tears on the Dancefloor along with pop gold such as "Tragedy" and "5, 6, 7, 8". The following night, flamenco and salsa enthusiasts – and Grammy Award winning – Gipsy Kings hit the stage, before new wave legends The Human League take over on Friday night.

The one and only Boyzone will headline on Saturday night, before piano man and leading star of jazz Jools Holland brings the show to a close on 15 July with special guests Gilson Lavis, Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall. With more acts yet to be announced, the event promises to be a musical extravaganza that's not to be missed.
