Kevin Hart: multi-talented American back on the road

Born in Philadelphia in 1980, Kevin Hart turned to comedy after experiencing a difficult childhood. After a stint as a shoe salesman the young entertainer paved his way into the stand up scene by entering several amateur comedy competitions. In 2004, he brought his talents to TV when he produced and starred in his own sitcom, The Big House, which acted as a parallel to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air; Hart played a rich teenager sent to live with his working class relatives.

Kevin Hart's stand up comedy acts centre around his life, friends and family, winning over audiences with stories that are easy to relate to. Hart's comedic reputation continued to grow with the release of his first stand-up album, I'm a Grown Little Man (2008), and he has released four more since: Seriously Funny in 2010, Laugh at My Pain in 2011, Let Me Explain in 2013 and What Now? in 2016.
