From X-Men to The Greatest Showman

Born in Sydney, Australia in 1968, Hugh Jackman began his career treading the boards in productions such as 'Beauty and the Beast',' Sunset Boulevard' and 'Oklahoma!' before moving to Hollywood, where he landed the role of Wolverine in 'X-Men'. Jackman went on to reprise the superhero role in numerous instalments of and spin-offs from the franchise, including the critically-acclaimed 'Logan', and play the leading man in romantic comedy 'Kate and Leopold', action horror 'Van Helsing', magician tale 'The Prestige', fantasy 'The Fountain', historical epic 'Australia' and gritty thriller 'Prisoners'. Hugh Jackman first paid tribute to the musical theatre classics he'd grown up listening to and performing in 2011 with a residency at New York's Broadhurst Theatre.
