The stunning setting of Henry VIII's Tudor courtyard plays host to an incredible line-up of world renowned artists in June 2016 as this festival celebrates its 13th year. Start the evening in the beautiful East Front Gardens for a little light dinner and drinks before taking your seats in the spectacular setting to enjoy the incredible vocal prowess of mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins, who returns to the venue for the first time since her wedding in 2014. Also on the roster is the legendary Tom Jones, ten-time Grammy Award winner George Benson, jazz piano master Jools Holland and one of the greatest singer-songwriters of our age in Van Morrison. Hampton Court Palace Festival History - Tom Jones to Play Three Dates at Summer Event

Reviving a tradition of entertainment stemming from the 16th and 17th century, when monarchs and nobility held events within the open air Base Court of the historic stately home, this annual music festival first officially opened in 1993. It has since become known for presenting a wide range of artists from multiple genres, including the likes of James Morrison, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and Sir Elton John. Prior to the concert, picnics are traditionally enjoyed in the grounds of the palace before a star-studded line-up takes to the stage to fill the air with the sweet sounds of beautiful music.

After the success of last year's festival, which saw Paloma Faith give an outstanding performance, the organisers of this popular event have set out to build upon their success with a phenomenal 2016 line-up that showcases artists from all genres. Jools Holland will bring his classic boogie woogie style and energy to the floor with special guests Pauline Black and Arthur 'Gaps' Hendrickson from The Selecter, while pride of Wales Tom Jones appears three times over the course of the week due to popular demand, performing a selection of his greatest hits such as 'Delilah' and 'Sex Bomb'. The most recent addition to the bill is another Welsh national, this time in the form of Katherine Jenkins who will perform her own tribute to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday. Having achieved a seventh UK number one album with Home Sweet Home, the mezzo soprano will be accompanied by renowned conductor Anthony Inglis and the national Symphony Orchestra for a live performance to be remembered.
