This band return with 2015 album Zipper Down, seven years after their previous LP Heart On. Core members Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme once again impress with their unique brand of humour, but their tongue in cheek lyrics don't detract from the music - this record most definitely still rocks in classic EODM fashion. Zipper Down's first single 'Complexity' showcases the danceable nature of the new material, beginning with a drumroll from Homme before radical guitar riffs and Hughes' trademark snarling vocals enter the mix. With additional members accompanying Hughes on tour, songs gain an extra dimension in concert and the singer's regular hilarious interactions with the crowd make for riotous entertainment.

Eagles of Death Metal Biography

This band formed as a side project of Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme and his childhood friend Jesse Hughes, but its popularity since has ensured it has become far more than that. Their debut album Peace, Love, Death Metal proved an instant hit in 2004 thanks to effortlessly catchy garage rock stompers like 'I Only Want You', 'Speaking In Tongues' and 'Miss Alissa'. With the tracks featuring in film, TV and advertising the group quickly gained a strong following. Second album Death by Sexy followed in 2006, with song 'I Want You So Hard (Boy's Bad News)' their strongest performing single in the UK to date. Third record Heart On from 2008 has proved their biggest chart success on both sides of the Atlantic to date, but there are high hopes for 2015 release Zipper Down.
