YouTube heroes Dan and Phil are getting ready to have some IRL facetime with their fans across the UK. Launching their new book, The Amazing Book Is Not On Fire, this is your chance to sit down with @amazingphil and @danisnotonfire and see their wacky antics up close and personal.

Plot

The guys have already made the leap from YouTube to the real world via their smash hit BBC Radio 1 show, The Radio Request Show with Dan And Phil. The live show will follow much the same format, so be prepared for a lot of wild and energetic audience interaction, as well as all your favourite segments such as Fan Wars, Dan Vs Phil, and Sorry I Can't Even Internet. There may or may not be a crowdsourced effort to Draw Phil Naked at the end of the show, depending on how well you lot behave yourself.

Schedule

The Amazing Tour Is Not On Fire is hitting up some of the biggest venues in Britain, including the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow, Newcastle City Hall, The Lowry in Salford, City Hall in Sheffield, Leeds Town Hall, Symphony Hall in Birmingham, St David's Hall in Cardiff, Waterfront Hotel in Belfast, Brighton Dome, Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham, and Liverpool Empire. The amazing tour finishes up with a spectacular finale in The London Palladium, so be sure to grab Dan and Phil tickets while you have the chance

Trivia

The general theme of Dan and Phil's work is randomness, and they have achieved some remarkably random things between them. Phil, for example, holds a world record for the quickest stacking of 25 coins (slightly over 31 seconds). Dan can touch his elbow with his tongue. Both of them had their big Hollywood break recently, with a small voice cameo in Big Hero 6.

Cast

Phil Lester posted his first vlog to YouTube in 2006, when he was just 19 years old. He found an audience pretty much immediately, and encouraged his best friend Dan Howell to post his own videos. Their YouTube channels ran separately, with the two occasionally making cameos on each other's videos. By 2009 they each had over 2 million subscribers. The two started collaborating on shared channels such as The Super Internet Project and danandphilGAMES, which has helped to increase their reach on social media.

Dan and Phil were drafted into Radio 1 in an attempt by BBC to lower the average age of their listeners. It helped the guys to develop a regular format, rather than the mucking about that typified their YouTube output, and is the basis of both This Amazing Book Is Not On Fire and This Amazing Tour Is Not On Fire. As ever, they remain hyperactive and lovable, likely to say anything and genuinely interested in what their fans have to say. Having won a string of awards for both their radio show and online work, Dan and Phil are recognised as the emerging face of 21st century entertainment.
