City and Colour Biography - Back in the UK Again in 2016

Singer and songwriter Dallas Green fell in love with music from a young age, penning tracks from the age of 16, and some of those would eventually form part of his debut solo album. The budding musician first joined a band called Helicon Blue before moving on to Alexisonfire in 2001, which saw his career soar. While playing with this post-hardcore outfit, Green was able to hone his songwriting talents throughout the group's four studio albums; all of which achieved platinum status in Canada. In between Alexisonfire records, he received high critical praise for releasing two solo albums in Sometimes and Bring Me Your Love.

In 2011 Alexisonfire disbanded, allowing Green to concentrate completely on his solo project, promptly releasing Little Hell and boosting his profile with a support slot for Biffy Clyro on their huge 2013 area tour. After unveiling his latest LP If I Should Go Before You in 2015, it's clear this artist still has so much to offer.
