More About Camp Bestival - From Jousting to Cute Animals

Established by Radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank in 2008 as a junior version of the established Bestival event, this all-ages extravaganza has since attracted some of the biggest names in music to its spectacular site at Lulworth Castle in Dorset. Growing in size and prominence each year, its genius comes in the sheer range of things to see and do, from arts and crafts workshops, a freestyle sports park, jousting and even spoken word performances for the more sophisticated among the crowds.

Barn dances are hosted alongside the English National Ballet in this eclectic mix of performances and hands-on workshops. The castle contains an animal farm to keep children busy whilst parents can enjoy hilariously funny performances from comics of the calibre of Marcus Brigstocke and Lee Mack.
